Living the Ultimate Lie - Religious Fundamentalism

I've been doing research on Christianity and other religions throughout the world for quite some time and find it hard to believe that most of these religious followers, won't even listen to facts that I and others have found regarding their religion.

I find most of these people to be living the ultimate lie and when it comes to Christian fundamentalism or someone who I would consider to be a super Christian, these people adamantly hold both hands over their ears, while stomping their feet, trying to scare me into submission.

No matter how you slice it, no matter how you want it delivered to you, the truth is always going to be the truth. If you won't listen to the truth, you will live trapped living in a world of lies. It doesn't matter whether you're a Christian who believes in Jesus or an Islamic follower of believes in Allah, the truth, for most people, can only be found outside of your religion.

Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about. How many religions talk about how the world was created, most of their followers, choose to believe their religious leaders and their religious text, without ever questioning, but often doubting what they were taught.

Science teaches us one way, religion teaches us another, however, neither one of them have any scientific evidence to back up their theories.

The minute that you state either one of these beliefs as a truth, you're living in a world of lies. If a scientist or religious leader, can convince you that their way is right, they have simply took a belief, without any evidence and made it into a fact. This illusion, is simply a belief that you have personally made into a truth and as long as you continue to believe this, without doing any of your own research, you will continue to spread lies and rumors throughout the world.

Check This Out - 1 Corinthians 14:34

If you're a woman, you might not want to read this article. If you're a man who supports male chauvinistic ways, I guarantee that this is going to be an article that you won't want to miss.

I have watched women who believe in other religions, all over the world, consider men to be superior to them. I have watched men treat women as subservient and sometimes has subhuman beings, even though these women are someone's wives, sisters or daughters.

But the Holy Bible, come on I can't believe that this is the word of God. Read this and if you have to read it again, but is this really in the Bible, did God actually write this or is this something that was written by man, to make women live lives of servitude.

Here it is, read it for yourself, 1 Corinthians (TWB) 14:34 let your wives keep silent in the assemblies, for it has not been permitted for them to speak; but let them be in subjection, as the law also says. Is this what Christianity is all about or is this just part of what Christianity represents.

Are women really supposed to be quiet in the assemblies of God, in church or places of worship? Am I reading this right? Your wife's keep silent in assemblies, it doesn't say anything about men remaining silent in assemblies.

Oh yeah, for it has not been permitted for them to speak, what the heck are they talking about. Are you telling me that Christian women are not allowed to speak inside of their place of worship? Is that where these assemblies meet or are they talking about something else.

I would like to make a suggestion, too any Christians that are reading this article, this would be a great topic for discussion, at your next prayer meeting or Bible study group.

With religious text like this, you can understand why some women don't have equal rights to men. Its beliefs like these, that will eventually end up forcing large religious organizations to change or become part of our history.

Is Overpopulation a Religious Problem?

Overpopulation really isn't that hard to understand. People love each other, want to reproduce and have offspring. Their parents took care of them, and they will take care of their children. People love to have families and these families love to have more families. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Now is overpopulation a religious problem? If you listen to religious text and understand a few simple sentences, you will see that there are plenty of religions all over the world that encourage the multiplication of mankind.

In the Bible, God tells man to be fruitful and multiply. If you read this a little differently, you might take it that God wants men to eat as much fruit as he wants to and plant more trees so that he can have more fruit and be fruitful.

That's not exactly how most Christians read this Bible verse. Christians need to have more children, and their children need to have more children. This is how they interpret the words, to be fruitful and multiply.

I do believe that religions all over the world play an important part in our worlds population problem today. It's not the people who are educated, that are constantly reproducing, in today's world.

Most religions support population expansion, but what are they going to do, once the world becomes so overpopulated, that we can't even take care of ourselves. This should give you another point of view to look at, especially if you one part of the problem and not the solution.

Tell Me Why You Truly Believe in God

Is God the person that you pray to and every once in awhile, he sends someone down to earth, to answer your prayers, like a good parent. God is always taking care of you, whether you're driving down the freeway at 75 miles an hour, or walking through a park.

Do you really know why, you believe in God? I bet you, that you're starting to think about the question now. As children, we are taught to believe, that God is the ultimate protector of the world and is always looking out for us. This seems to bring us comfort, as we go through our daily lives.

Do you think that Hindu's, Muslim's or Christians, have similar beliefs in their god or gods? I have seen Hindus and Muslims that live pretty good life's. Why wouldn't these people be punished by the other gods or God? If I was the god of Jehovah and got mad at everyone who made false idols or worshiped other gods, why wouldn't I go out of my way to make their lives miserable?

It just doesn't make any sense, if you really spend the time, to think about it. If God is that powerful, why wouldn't he wiped out the opposition? Why wouldn't he be story their possessions?

Doesn't it say something like this in the Bible? God will make people's lives miserable if they don't follow him, yet I know plenty of people that are miserable and follow him. Are you really going to spend your life believing in your personal God, and never questioning his existence or even the origins of your religion.

Ask yourself one question, is God real and if so, how do you know that your right? Have you ever thought that someone else could be right and you could be wrong?

The Path - Full Attention

I was walking in the forest just after finishing a Meditation retreat when I came across the most perfect picture book scene. I froze in my tracks. I couldn't go forward, it would spoil. I couldn't go back because I was part of the picture. I was frozen.

It is experiences like this, whether you are a golfer or a meditator or leader of a business that reflect the profound beauty of putting your whole attention into something and this is often lost in our busy busy-ness lives.I see the mother playing with the baby, talking on the phone, drinking coffee and trying to get her own peace of mind and realise how hard it is these days to put our full attention into something.

I have a very athletic friend and he is considered an ADD person. But when we go out and do something physical, active and challenging he is in this zone of full attention too. Meditation is no the only way to find the inspiration of full attention.

The whole key is to practice between performances. Instead of suddenly wanting to give something your full attention try being mindful about your full attention to things and life as a habit. This is a good step forward and away from the lumpy old system of slump, think, attend, slump because it's in those slumps that a lot of devolution takes place. (troubles)

To put your full attention into life becomes a habit if you can become deliberate in the smaller things. Like eating slowly, taking kindly, being friendly, looking in people's eyes when you address them. It means washing your clothes to keep you and your clothes clean. It's about the kitchen and the floor as well as your computer, your office desk. Everything about your life becomes an affirmation of considered attention.

This is how you can really elevate your world. Full attention to reading the newspaper and making sure your emotions experience but don't cause permanent memories. This is the Path to putting your whole heart into life, and it has significant material success too.

People like to meet people who put their full attention to what they do. You'll be more interesting, a better communicator, a cleared sales person, a happier partner if you can practice full attention.

It's really a matter of patience. When there are twenty things pulling at your coat, it is wise to apologise to 19 of them, give one the attention they deserve and then go to the next. I find this with children but the most potent example is at a book signing. Here, people queue and when they get to the desk for a book signature they absolutely want full attention. It's so easy to brush them away so that the next person doesn't have to wait, but this guarantees they will stay longer. Instead, if people get full attention they feel satisfied in a short period of time, and easily move forward after the signing. It's a matter of respect for their presence.

Practice between performances. Give your food, your cat, your TV your full attention. A flower, a tree your full attention and then explore doing this with people. Start with inanimate objects. It is a skill. I teach this skill as a listening skill. Full attention means listening actively. Practice listening with your ears, your mind, your heart your hands. There are many ways to bring your full attention to listening.

Move a cup with the same awareness that you light a candle. Make each movement a conscious one.

Law Of Attraction & The Mistakes People Make

This article describes the Law Of Attraction. However, many people who have heard of this law in "The Secret" may be unaware of the reasons in which what they wanted did not materialize. This is due to a lack of information as to how the subconscious mind works. Therefore, the Law of Attraction and the mistakes people make must be highlighted.

Not everyone is aware that their desire must be charged with emotions. An affirmation is never done half-heartedly. After all, if you are not sure of what you want, why should the universe deliver it to you? When you are aware of what you want, then the universe will deliver your object of desire. Having an unwavering desire is like shooting an arrow at the bull's eye - there is no ambiguity involved.

Secondly, you are not to use negative emotions or words when making your affirmations. Affirming "I don't want to be in debt" is not going to work since your subconscious mind will be focused on the word "debt" causing more of it to manifest. This in turn will lead to greater debt. Also, since your subconscious mind is unable to interpret negative command, "I don't want to be in debt" will mutate to "I want to be in debt". That will simply be contrary to what you want.

Thirdly, one must not program in the past or future tense. I "hope" to become a millionaire will never ever ensure that you can a million dollars. This is because your subconscious mind will interpret as you "hoping" to get there. Thus. you will always be in the state of "hoping" and never make any progress. Instead make the affirmation "I am NOW a millionaire" and visualize yourself in a pool of money and enjoying yourself.

Fourthly, one is to enhance that negative thoughts do not enter the subconscious mind at any point in time. This will include times when one is in a heightened state of emotion such as anger or perhaps depression. In the event that negative thoughts enter the mind, it is to be phased out by greater and stronger positive thoughts.

There are many factors that come into play when applying the Law of Attraction. Therefore, the Law of Attraction and the mistakes people make must be highlighted.

Visit my blog at Law Of Attraction Mistakes for a more detailed explanation of the Law of Attraction.

Who I Am Is Enough!

This is your gentle reminder of your ongoing work on your self-esteem, and positive self-image. Everyday we have opportunities to bring in positive thoughts and messages about ourselves and our lives; We just have to learn how to be conscious and aware of these opportunities.

The purpose of this message is to bring to you an affirmation and meditation that you can utilize throughout the week so that your thoughts, your energy and ultimately, your feelings about yourself become more positive and your life will reflect these changes.

This article focuses on the core message from which everything else grows:

"Who I am is enough!"

Take in a slow deep breath as you make this statement, and slowly release it, and let the message settle in to your system.

Take another deep breath and say the phrase again , slowly, and out loud. Hear the words; "Who I am is enough".

Take a deep breath again and feel where in your body the message gets blocked or stuck. Ask yourself: "Do I believe this statement without any ifs, ands or buts?"

If the answer is no, then take an extra moment to reflect on what it means to be enough...

"What is enough?" Do you know?

What's enough food?; Enough sleep?; Enough time?; Enough love?; Enough energy?; If you do say this statement and believe it without any "ifs, ands or buts", then allow the warm feeling to settle in as you consciously and lovingly remind yourself of who you are.

Breathe in and out slowly and deeply and repeat the statement

"Who I am is enough."

Really allow yourself to sit with the feelings that go through you and what it means to let yourself believe this message.

This is where everyone must begin, because somewhere, at sometime, or times, in your life you knew that you really were enough and you still are today!

Sit with this... connect with the positive feelings these memories bring back. If nothing emerges right away, repeat the message:

"Who I am is enough" throughout your day, throughout your week. No judgments, no criticisms, just a deep abiding awareness that a shift is occurring in your life, and you are open to it. Take a deep breath... and allow that breath to fill you completely. "Who I am is Enough!"

As simple as these words are, they are really very meaningful and powerful. Within each of us exists the knowledge and belief that we really are enough. It's time now to shed the messages that have been absorbed over the years that have undermined the truth "Who I Am Is Enough", and live according to the belief that you really are enough just by being you. As always, I wish you all the best!
